Europe and the USA

Apparently this photo is from 2004, long before I entered the blogosphere. So, bear with me if you have seen it before. I admit that I do eat fast food sometimes. Working 12 hour shifts and shuttling kids to activities sometimes makes the drive thru  inevitable, but I can definitely appreciate the humor.

  1. Funny what they can pass off as food in the States.

  2. I definitely succumb to fast food too. The lifestyle is just completely different in the US (compared to Europe) and sometimes, we're forced to do what is necessary. Also, I feel like medical professionals should have a category of their own. Sometimes it's not even what we eat, as much as IF we get a chance to eat!

  3. I agree about the fast food bit. After working a 12 hour shift, who feels like cooking a healthy meal? I'm hungry and tired after work, and stop at McDonalds way too often because of it.

  4. Europe is getting obese now too. Much more fast food instead of traditional diets and lack of exercise. France has a rising obesity problem as does Italy. Britain is no different from the US in terms of obesity.

  5. haha. Funny, but so true. Fast foods are one of the factors why many Americans are obese nowadays.
